April Director’s Message
Dear Members,
Just one year ago I was beginning my first days as your new Director. Many of you were full of questions about me, as I was about you and the Center. This past year has blessed me more than I ever imagined and my excitement for what future the Center holds and offers continues to grow. Most importantly I want to thank each and every member, supporter, and friend of the Center for making these past twelve months better than any of us could have dreamed. One thing I don’t want us to ever lose sight of is the story of the Center’s struggle and then triumph. Its success comes from an entire community who saw a need for its saving. We witnessed the miraculous as sixteen churches formed an alliance to support the Center’s reopening and sustainability; with forward momentum an entire community united to restore what was once a booming “senior” Center. Because of these decisions one year ago, we stand strong in unity and the Center continues to be blessed as are we. I’m humbled by its story and hold each decision close to my heart knowing that it’s important to all that utilize, support, and frequent the Center. Thank you for spending this last year with us at the Center. Thank you for your support. Thank you for the memories and smiles that you fill my heart and soul with each day. I hope you can join us in our 1st year anniversary as we celebrate with coffee and donuts and that you can join in on many of the great events that the Center has in store this spring.
Celebrating this last year together,
Cecily Rose
Director
