August 2018 Director’s Message!

Dear Members,

Happy August to you! Nothing says August like an outing to the Clackamas County Fair! We hope you’re able to join us on this annual outing where you get to enjoy the Fair to its fullest! Whether it’s the animals, the fair food, rides, games, entertainment, or exhibits that draw you, we’ll be going on Senior Day (Wednesday, the 15th) to enjoy it ALL!

This month is full of emotion as we welcome Shirley, our new Nutrition Manager to our team as Brittney exits. I want to say thank you to Brittney for her many years of service here at the Center! Over the last 5 years, we’ve done many things together and shared many joys, laughter and tears. The memories are plentiful. She provided a youthful energy to the Center that we all soaked in, and she provided a new perspective that we needed. We will miss her greatly yet we love how this story is playing out. We’ve been sent a replacement for her that most already know and love! Shirley Wood has blessed the Center for years in other ways, and now gets to join us as Nutrition Manager! Please help me in welcoming Shirley to the team.
