August Director’s Message
Sometimes things just fal
l together perfectly and I’ve noticed more and more of this happening here at the Center than I’ve ever experienced in my life. It is more incredible than I can ever put into words to be a part of this amazing place, this amazing team, and this amazing group of volunteers and members. Together we are moving in a direction that I’m so excited about. Our calendars are getting busier with activity, our volunteers are buzzing around with smiles and our suggestion box has been full of ideas. Thanks for making this Center so lively, so fun, and for helping with all of its improvements. If it takes a village to raise a child I’m convinced it takes a community to create a successful Center and I’m so pleased to see it happening here.
Support for the Center comes in many forms. We have instructors, financial sponsors, activity sponsors, educators, and more. Each activity that the Center exhibits is due to support and volunteerism on many levels. I’m excited to expand the Center in the area of wellness education and pre-screening and thanks to the support of outside professionals we are able to do so. Look for some fantastic events, outings and activities this month thanks to many of our great volunteers and sponsors! See you at the Center!
