Director’s Update

Dear Members,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. While we tend to posture
ourselves toward thanksgiving year-round, November brings such clarity of just how thankful we are for each and every person who graces the Center with their presence and generosity. Whether that be recipients, donors, volunteers, or friends of the Center, we are so very thankful for you.

As I sit and type out this month’s note to you, I’m in the midst of a Center that is filled with joyful noise once again. As the Center has reopened it’s abundantly clear that we need each other, that we are better in community, and that having the ability to lean on one another is good for our souls. The buzz of the Center has brought joy back into our lives, those of us who work here, yes, but more so for those that are once again utilizing the Center. As programs are restarting, I want to encourage those that volunteered formally to reach out and let us know your availability, we are eager and ready to have your beautiful help once again. The Center needs you, we need the joy you brought, the help you gave, the fun you created, the community role you met. We are so thankful for you and for the individual and unique design you bring that makes us better. May you know how deeply thankful we are for you this season and always.
