January Director’s Message
Happy New Year Members!
It is so exciting to start off the new year with all of the end-of-year blessings that we’ve received. I’m so thankful for the generosity that is poured into our Center. Each and every penny, each and every donation, each and every word of encouragement inspires me and motivates me to be a better Director. At a time where things often seem bleak, especially when watching the news, I have the pleasure of being surrounded by blessings of love and care and compassion and generosity from yourselves and others. This provides such hope and inspiration for the entire team at the Center who strive to be a refuge of kindness, safety, and assistance. Please know what you’ve given us in 2015 matters. Whether it’s been your monetary donation, an in-kind donation, a thank you card, a kind word, or prayers, it has meant the world to us.
I’m looking forward to this month as we celebrate a day of service on Martin Luther King day. We’ll be making Valentine’s Day cards with the help of RSVP, a wonderful volunteer organization of Clackamas County. Join us for a special lunch event this day! We’re also visiting my second favorite Center in Clackamas County! The Canby Adult Center, this Center is close to my heart as it’s located in the town I grew up in, and it taught me much about service and volunteerism at a young age. Thanks for joining me as we start off the new year with excitement and gratitude.
New year blessings to you,
Cecily Rose
Director
