June 2018 Director’s Message

Hello Members,

We’re celebrating our Volunteers early this year because we just can’t stand to wait! It’s our favorite celebration here at the Center as we just simply couldn’t be here without the efforts of each and every volunteer. In 2017 we calculated 14,490 hours of volunteer time! We know there’s many more hours that go undocumented as well! This blows my mind every time I think about it, a Center that could NOT be in existence without the amazing army of volunteers. To celebrate this year, we’re once again having a Hawaiian themed luau celebration. We ask that if you are a recipient of the Center, you come to honor our mighty volunteers. If you are a volunteer, please join us as we honor YOU! Thank you for your support, thank you for your volunteerism, we truly are better together!
