June Director’s Message
Dear Members,
A bit of Nostalgia hit me recently as “Service Day” from the high school arrived. It was the first annual event that I was repeating since becoming director. It made me incredibly excited about the future of the Center. I look forward to many years of repeating such wonderful events. While it’s hard to choose, I believe the events where we collaborate with other groups and causes are a favorite of mine. We did this not only with the high schools’ service day this month, but also with our Rodeo Royal’tea’ which was a wonderful and successful event as well. During the month of June we will again hold our rummage sale, and everyone loves a great bargain! We are hoping for sunshine this year so that this event can be held outdoors. We will, however, be prepared to move things inside if need be. Call me a true Oregonian, but I don’t make bets on our weather! This event will be slightly different this year, as we’re inviting the entire community to participate. And rumor has it, we’ll have a hotdog lunch available for purchase.
We’ve had great success with our Walk with Ease program and we’re looking to add a few additional activities in the month of June. Our entire team thanks you for all of the memories and enjoyment you provide us each day! Looking forward to a fantastic summer with you.
See you at the Center!
