June Director’s Message

Dear Members,

Happy Summer and Happy Fourth of July to you! We’ve heard the good news that even with the heavy construction in downtown Molalla, the Giant Street Parade is a go! The Center will be participating in the parade, so we hope to see and hear you as we pass by! May you have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
This month we also have the honor of celebrating our valued volunteers. Join us on July 20th at 12pm for a “Hawaiian Elvis” themed event. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to say “Thank You” to the many men and women who serve so generously at the Center. It is true that there are more volunteer hours that go into running this Center than there are staff hours. This makes these celebrations all the more important and exciting. Our services and programs are sustained through volunteerism. To each and every one of our volunteers: Thank you for your hours of service, thank you for so generously giving of yourself and your valuable time, thank you for making a difference in our community, and for positively impacting the lives of all that you touch through your giving. We appreciate you!
