May 2019 Director’s Message!

Dear Members,

We’re once again at the important time of canary yellow envelopes flooding our inbox after the sending out of our annual appeal letter. This time of year fills us with such gratitude as the response of generosity unfolds. If you don’t happen to land in the Molalla, Mulino, or Colton (our service area) zip codes, but are interested in getting the appeal letter, please let us know. This appeal reminds us of our growth each year whether steady or abundant and we’re grateful for the support that allows growth to happen here. We’re unable to fully express how grateful we are for each and every person who responds with donations, encouraging words, heartfelt inspiration, and support of many kinds. As always, we’re honored to be a part of something so beautiful.

While the donations are many, our team continuously works to seek funding in all ways possible. We have just concluded our “Spring Fling” bazaar and are planning a new fundraiser event this year called “Christmas in July!” Many more details on this event will be unfolding soon! As we settle into May, there is much to celebrate. We want to wish our Mothers reading this a happy Mother’s Day! We also want to take the time to pause and honor our brave men and women who served this Country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom on this Memorial Day. We hope you have a beautiful May!
