October 2017 Director’s Message

Happy October to you! We love this month as it always seems a little jam-packed with exciting events, presentations, fun, and of course my favorite season of Fall seems to settle in completely. We have many shifts and changes happening at the Center this month we’re eager to share with you! First, we’d like to welcome Amanda to the team! Amanda will be filling the role of Financial Manager at the Center. An OSU graduate, we feel honored to have her smarts and expertise in this role. If you haven’t met her yet, be sure you do so, you’ll adore her sweet disposition and her contagious smile! Next on the list of changes is that Brittney is switching roles. After many years in Client Services, she’s moving to the kitchen! This shift came after we were notified that Samantha was going to be leaving her role in the kitchen as well (oh how we’ll miss her!). Brittney always loved being back-up in Nutrition, and with the weight and toll that Client Services takes over time, she was ready for a break from that responsibility. We’re incredibly excited to have her perspective in the Nutrition Department! She knows our services inside and out, so we’ll be blessed by her knowledge as she settle into that new role. Lastly, Sheri will remain Transportation Manager, continuing to excel in the paperwork and reporting that comes with every oil change, ride given, and more; she will extend her hours and also fill in part time as Client Service Assistant! Her professional medical billing and management expertise is going to be a wonderful foundation for this new position she’ll be taking on. In addition, her heart longed to help people in more depth since the day she’s arrived at the Center, so for her this is an answer to her prayers and desires.
While the amount of change that’s occurred in the last month or two may make some a little dizzy, we’re leaning into and trusting that there’s a reason for everything, and holding tight to the fact that change is always the provision of an opportunity; an opportunity for growth and success! With this outlook, we can’t all help but feel excited about the future of the Center! We hope you’re excited, too! Questions about the many changes?
