September 2017 Director’s Message

Dear Members,
Happy September to you!

Did you love the eclipse? We enjoyed watching it from the Center, what a great place to be for something so magnificent! We’re always eager for fall to arrive, the weather cooling down, the leaves beginning to change, all of it. It’s a season of change and some we eagerly anticipate, and other change we’re never quite prepared for. The change I speak of is: this month that is hard to embrace is that Jodi is leaving the Center after 4 1/2 years. She’s been here since our transition back in 2013, and we’ve enjoyed every ounce of love and care that she’s poured into this Center, and it will leave a void and surely some big shoes to fill. But as ready as we’re not, we do celebrate her new beginning and new adventure and wish her the absolute best! She’ll be working at the High school, still being a blessing to our great community! How lucky they are to have her! We’re currently searching for the perfect person to fill the role of financial manager of the Center, and hope to share this great person and addition with you soon!

We have a great fall kickoff happening with programs and events and we’re eager to have you join us!
