September Director’s Message
Hello Members!
Where did this summer go? I remember it being hot and the sun shining beautifully but yet it’s came and went so fast I feel like we need another. Before we know it, leaves will be changing colors and school buses will be on the roads. We are going to take this month to reflect back on our time togeth- er with an annual pot luck social! Many have requested this event and I think it’s time we make
it happen. I’m looking forward to this fun and casual gather- ing as a time to reminisce and enjoy each other’s company. I hope you can join us with your favorite dish and perhaps the recipe to go along with it!
While many households are hustling to get things ready for “Back to School,” we are doing some of the same here at the Center. We are implementing new things, new ideas and the Center is going to continue to buzz more so than it already does. This month brings new activities and services like: Hair Cuts by Anna! A great presentation by Bristol Hospice covering “Tools to Navigate your future.” Bill Hammond is returning for musical entertainment along with Ron Burghard. CapTel will be here for a presentation on Captioned Tel- ephone use for those who are hard of hearing, and the list goes on and on. Come join in on the fun and excitement at the Center!
Kindly,
Cecily Rose
