Dear Members,

Happy Anniversary Month to you! It’s been an amazing 2 year journey that’s gotten us to today and we’re grateful for the opportunity of being here. Together we’ve been able to share in times of joy and happiness and we’ve been there for one another during times of loss and sorrow. This is truly what our Center is all about. I have the pleasure of interviewing a member or two as we gear up for our annual appeal every year which informs the public of who we are and what we do as a Center. I was reminded this year as I interviewed a fabulous couple of the true reason Centers were established and why we fight hard each day to make sure our Center remains in our community to help those in need. While it’s difficult to sum up the hundreds of programs and services provided by the Center, we hope to share a few stories of those that positively impacted the lives of people in vulnerable situations. As this year’s appeal letter hits your mailbox, we hope you’ll take time to share it with others.

Thanks for supporting the Center as you do. Thanks for uplifting your MAS board, the Center staff and for uplifting me each and every day so that together we can continue in our growth and success. My continued hopes are that this Center serves seniors and people with disabilities for many years to come and that it remains a beautiful example of what happens when a community unites.
