December Director’s Message
As I write this, we are completing a wonderful month busy with activity! The Center was full of a wonderful commotion for our “Dinner in the Country” fundraiser and the Holiday Bazaar. It is due to the beautiful volunteers and members, that we are able to hold such successful events, and we are incredibly blessed. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and that you are looking forward to your Christmas season beginning.
The Holidays, in general, are a time of wonder, but can be very difficult for many of us who have lost loved ones. We’ve scheduled a heart-felt presentation for this month to help us through the difficulties. “Getting Through the Holidays,” hosted by Providence Hospice, will be a great topic as we struggle with wanting to enjoy the beauty and joys that the Holidays bring, while ad- dressing the constant reminders of our missing loved ones. Please join us on this day as we remember and honor those not able to share this holiday season with us. This Christmas can be about making new memories as well, and we have an exciting calendar full of events to do just that. Join us as we head to Portland for the “Festival of Trees” which is sure to get us in the Christmas spirit! Then we’re making our way to Colton for “Senior Nights” an evening full of holiday cheer! Watch the calendar for many other holiday festivities as we spread love, joy and cheer here at the Center and throughout Molalla!
See you soon!
Kindly,
Cecily Rose
