January Director’s Message
The year 2013 was a phenomenal one for me and for the Center. We’ve seen unity within our community as we’ve witnessed the Center’s transformation. Being a part of it has been one of the best experiences of my lifetime. We’ve witnessed growth and expansion of our team and while we’ve grown in numbers we’ve also grown in friendship and harmony. There has been such a reward in getting to know our clients, both homebound recipients, and in house participants. This next year is full of excitement as we continue to grow our programs and design the Center’s future. A few events we’re looking forward to planning this year include a Fundraiser Auction and Dinner in February, and a Spring Fling plant sale and craft bazaar in early to mid-spring. We plan to have our annual rummage sale, and start- ing this month we’re kicking off a fundraiser breakfast. We are always looking for exciting ways to raise funds, celebrate and promote the center, and meet the wants and needs of our local area seniors.
For those that haven’t heard, we’re beginning 2014 with an increased donation from Molalla Communications. We have many additional sponsors and donors that we would like to thank as well. We can do our work only because of the ongo- ing support we receive from our sponsors, community members, and friends of the Center. We hope we can continue to demonstrate to you that we value the sup- port of our donors and that we use it wisely to provide help and assistance that our valuable clients are in need of. It has been such a pleasure to serve as your Director in 2013 and I’m eager to see what this next year brings us. May the New Year bring along happiness and good tidings to you and your loved ones.
Kindly,
Cecily Rose
Director
