July 2019 Director’s Message!
Dear Members,
July 1st, 2019 kicks off the start of a new Fiscal Year for the Center. This means a few different things for the Center and its members and team of staff. The County has accepted our yearly proposal to carry our contract for another year. While this is usually not newsworthy, for us, it is something to celebrate. We have unique relationships with the State, County and Social Services in general and we celebrate each new year that each entity unites to help serve our community in big and tangible ways.
We have many things to look forward to this summer. We are privileged to live in a city that holds tradition near to their hearts. Like you, we are all looking forward to the parade and rodeo and all things in between over the 4th of July weekend as we celebrate our great nation. When those festivities start to slow, we will dive right into the Center’s largest celebration which is our Thank you event that honors both volunteers and sponsors. It’s the perfect time of year to get together and celebrate them and all they do to make the Center shine.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate their greatness on July 17th with our traditional Luau. Wear your best attire and join us!
