July Director’s Message

I hope this finds you enjoying your summer months!  Possibly this means time with family, friends, grandchildren, travels, or relaxation.  Whatever defines your summer we surely hope it’s one that is full of making memories and enjoyment.  Even though other things do, the center doesn’t seem to slow down during the Summer, and I love that. If anything we’re building steady momentum of picking up the pace on activities and events. You’ll find us in this year’s Giant Street Parade on July 4th!  We are also gearing up for our fabulous Volunteer appreciation BBQ that will be held on the 10th of July.  This is an event that I more than look forward to as the heart beat of our center is sustained by our fabulous volunteers.  Saying thanks to them will never seem like enough.  Come celebrate them with us and enjoy a fun and casual event.

Our rummage sale that was held last month turned out to be a fabulous fundraiser.  The Center raised $1607.00!  Talk about a smashing success! We are planning numerous fundraisers for our future and will continuously update you on these events.  Again, we owe our wonderful volunteers many thanks for the time and energy they put into this sale and it’s great success.   Our volunteers are beautiful, thoughtful, and committed individuals that make this world a better place, and this month we have the pleasure of celebrating them.
