Dear Members,

I’m just going to start off with the exciting news… We had a record breaking fundraiser Auction in February with an income totaling $7,062! I can’t express enough thanks to all who helped make this event the best one yet! We are truly grateful! Be sure to take a look at all of those who volunteered and donated as they’re listed in the fundraiser section of our newsletter. If you happen to see the individuals or stop by their places of business, feel free to thank them for supporting the Center.

As we wind down from the Auction we are already thinking of what’s next. This year we are partnering with the Meals on Wheels Association of America for the March for Meals Campaign, which is aimed to end Senior Hunger in our nation. As we March for Meals we’ll be getting the support from some local businesses as they help us to raise monetary donations and bring awareness of the cause to our community. Don’t forget to wear your best green on the 17th this month! We’ll have a fun St. Patty’s Day Party at lunch! There will be prizes for the “most green”, the “best green”, and the “most original green”. Rumor also has it we’re having a marshmallow fight this day…So come ready to enjoy the fun and festivities this St. Patty’s Day at the Center!
