November Director’s Message

Dear Members,

We have been busy raising funds for the Center! Our Mo’s Clam Chowder sales have come to an end, but just beginning November 1st is our pre-order sales of pies from Willamette Valley Pie Company, and beautiful wreaths from Willamette Evergreen, Inc. Be sure to see details inside regarding these fundraisers. And still busy is our sale of 2016 Entertainment books and our preparation for the upcoming Holiday Bazaar. I hope you can join us for this joyful event on Saturday, November 14th! We’re bringing back our Veteran’s Day pot-luck this year. Join us on Wednesday, November 11th as we celebrate our Veterans. All are welcome, but we’d love to know ahead of time if you’ll be celebrating with us and what you’ll be bringing. Please note that donations are welcome in lieu of food items. Also be sure to let us know if you’re a Veteran as we’d like to honor you on this special day.

This year we’re having a special Thanksgiving Meal on Wednesday, November 25th. We will run the bus as normal this day to be sure all are able to make it that want to. Be ready to share what you’re thankful for on this day as we’ll have a wonderful gathering which is reason alone for us to be thankful! As you can see it’s a busy month here at the Center and we hope you’ll stop by and see us.
