October Director’s Message

Dear Members,

It’s a funny thing how Fall sneaks up on us. For the Center, that happens in many different ways, but all in all, we’re ready for it! We’re ready for cooler days that bring on energy assistance applications as well as open enrollment discussions and presentations for Medicare recipients. We’re also ready for the beautiful chaos of our busiest fundraising time of year! We hope you’re ready right along with us! October first kicks off our annual “Mo’s Clam Chowder” sales. Mo’s generously helps us in our efforts to raise clams for the Center. We now have our 2016 Entertainment Books for sale as well and this fundraiser specifically assists our great nutrition program. In addition to these annual fundraisers we’d like to thank Steve Locke Construction for sponsoring this Month’s fundraiser breakfast. If that name sounds familiar, it’s most likely because they were the company that placed our new roof on our building! There is so much activity this month at the Center between Holiday presentations and activities and the daily norm that we hope you come down and join in on the fall festivities with us!
