November Director’s Message!

Hello Members!

Have you noticed how busy the Center is? We absolutely love seeing all of your smiling faces here each day! Brittney is doing a fantastic job with client services and I couldn’t be more pleased with our completed team. A new “Painting with Pauline” class was added this month in addition to many new and exciting activities. In addition to a few great outings, we’re hosting a bingo day for prizes accompanied by refreshments, and I encourage you to join us on this day for some good old fashioned fun. If I’m not out there playing with you, I’ll surely want to hear you yell “Bingo!” with all your heart!

This month is one most of us naturally reflect back on in thanks. Thanksgiving for me has always been such a special day as it designates the time to stop and truly remember what we are grateful for. Each year I compose a new list of things in which I’m blessed with. This year it is full of Center related thanks. I’m grateful for all of the relationships the Center has brought me, including participants, volunteers, and everyone in between. I am grateful for my career. I feel beyond blessed to spend my days here at the Center doing what I love. I am grateful for my team. This Center wouldn’t be successful without the teamwork that is involved and I appreciate their hard work and their passion for what they do here. And the list of giving thanks for Center related items seems endless. What an amazing feeling to have so much to be thankful for. November is also a month to Celebrate our Veterans, yet another reason to be thankful. We salute our Veterans this month and always at the Center and we thank you for your sacrifice and service.
