September Director’s Message
Dear Members,
September is upon us and fall will be settling in soon, but hopefully not before we get the chance to enjoy an Indian summer! This month, no doubt, we’ll start seeing school buses and sales on school supplies flooding the end caps of the stores. No matter how many years I’ve been out of school there’s always an excitement that comes with the “back to school” time of year. We’re celebrating it this year at the Center with a “spirit week!” Get silly with us. Dress up, laugh, take pictures, let your creativity flow and join in on the fun. Check the newsletter for all the details.
Guess what else is happening this Month? It’s Entertainment Book time! Be sure to get yours before they’re gone. These fantastic coupon books make great gifts for others or a nice treat for yourself. By purchasing one through the Center you are supporting the Meals on Wheels programs throughout the entire Clackamas County area.
The Center is taking a bus to Senior Safari day at the Oregon Zoo this month as well. If we accidentally end up bringing a monkey back to the Center I would happily share my office with him! (As long as Dennis cleans up after him!)
